For drivers who desire the prestige and innovation of an Audi while opting for an electric vehicle, both the 2025 Audi Q4 e-tron and Q6 e-tron are excellent choices. These two crossover SUVs offer two-row seating and come packed with advanced features for a superior driving experience. However, there are some significant differences between them. What should you consider when deciding which Audi EV is right for you?
Performance
The 2025 Audi Q4 e-tron offers a single electric motor that produces 282 horsepower and is equipped with rear-wheel drive. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 6.3 seconds. With a fast charger, the battery can reach 80% charge in just 28 minutes. Alternatively, you can opt for a more powerful setup, delivering 335 horsepower with a 0-60 time of 5.0 seconds and standard all-wheel drive. The 2025 Audi Q6 e-tron, on the other hand, starts with a single motor producing 322 horsepower and achieving 0-60 mph in 6.3 seconds with rear-wheel drive. For a more powerful performance, there’s an option featuring two electric motors generating 456 horsepower, launch control, and standard all-wheel drive.
Appearance
While the Q4 e-tron and Q6 e-tron share a similar design language, the Q6 e-tron is the larger of the two. The Q4 e-tron has a distinctive waterfall-edge hood and a bold grille with a unique mesh pattern. The staggered LED headlights give it a striking appearance, and the lower air intakes are triangular and deep-set. The sides of the vehicle feature body-colored ledges and dark accent bars. The 2025 Q6 e-tron, however, is more imposing with a longer hood and a tighter mesh pattern on the grille. The air intakes are nearly rectangular, with slit-style headlights positioned above them. On the sides, a prominent groove runs across the door panels, complemented by a black, angled accent feature.
Features
Choosing the 2025 Audi Q4 e-tron gives you access to premium features such as leather seating, an MMI touch display, paddle shifters, dual-pane glass, an augmented reality head-up display, a premium Sonos sound system, a wireless charging pad, and a suite of safety features including pre-sense front, lane guidance, adaptive cruise assist, side assist, traffic sign recognition, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Q6 e-tron offers many of these same features but also includes a Bang and Olufsen sound system with 3D sound, dual charging ports, remote climatization, pre-sense rear, a top-view camera, and active front assist.
