The 2023 Audi A5 is excellent for discerning car shoppers who expect refinement and power behind the wheel. The Audi S5 is a close sibling to the A5 but is a step up in power and has a few additional features. Both models are available in four-door hatchback, coupe, and convertible body styles and have strong appeal. However, a more detailed review with our Audi experts is in order before you finalize your decision.

For the 2023 Audi A5, you can find two powertrain options available for different body styles. The turbo 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine offers 261 horsepower, and a variant is available that produces 201 horsepower. All body styles and trims for the A5 come with a seven-speed auto transmission and all-wheel drive. Regardless of the 2023 Audi S5, the trims and body styles all receive 349 horsepower from a V6 turbocharged 3.0-liter engine. They all also come with all-wheel drive and an automatic seven-speed transmission.

There are gorgeous differences between the styles of the A5 and the S5. The A5 is designed with a pair of angled accents on the side panels and a smooth, cascading hood. The hexagon grille is paired with premium air vents and matrix LED headlights on a rounded nose. Some A5 trims are available with headlight washers, red brake calipers, and 19-inch wheels. The S5's design is more muscular, with chiseled and molded side panels and rigorous definition across the hood. The A5 and the S5 share the same grille shape. However, the S5's headlights are designed with an angled LED light bar and strongly-shaped air vents. The S5's exterior features may include red brake calipers, 20-inch wheels, and upgraded headlights for some trims.

The 2023 A5 and the S5 are outfitted with prime features to impress you across every mile traveled. Some or all trims for both models are available with a Bang & Olufsen sound system, heated seats for both rows, a head-up display, an auto parking system, a navigation system, memory settings for the driver, front and rear parking sensors, a surround-view camera, a wireless charging pad, a digital display for the driver's gauges, ambient cabin lighting, a tri-zone climate control system, wired Android Auto, wireless Apple CarPlay and leather upholstery. If you opt for the S5, your car may also have rear USB ports and an integrated toll road transponder.
