The 2019 Audi A6 Will Have a Quieter Cabin with Updated Tech Features

Coming soon is the 2019 Audi A6 - and it promises to run quieter and feature even more impressive technology than previous versions. Its reshaped body will have a handsomely redesigned front end and nice flared wheel arches. It will also have exhaust tuning that minimizes low frequency noise, a more rigid front axle, an rpm-adaptive torsion damper reducing engine vibration, and options like three-layer acoustic glass, which will make the cabin so quiet it will be hard to hear the powerful 3.0-liter V6 engine. The new A6 will also be a mild hybrid, with a 48-volt main electrical system that's built to aid efficiency.

The 2019 Audi A6 will have a more futuristic cabin, with two center displays for Audi’s MMI touch response operating system. A lower 8.6-inch screen will let the user create up to 27 shortcuts for vehicle functions including climate control, navigation destinations and more. The text input system will let you write out whole words with a swipe of your finger rather than just letters. The upper screen will be for infotainment features, and “buttons” for various functions will be designed for a smartphone-style arrangement. The optional MMI navigation will include Audi virtual cockpit and its 12.3-inch high-resolution display in the dash, with relevant information projected onto the windshield. Both plus and standard MMI navigation will have a self-learning function based on driving routes, and maps will update over-the-air four times every year. The new A6 will also have a bunch of driver assist systems, including adaptive cruise assist, which combines adaptive cruise control with the lane guidance function and traffic jam assist over the full speed range. The 2019 Audi A6 will boast a comfortable, luxurious ride, and its coming soon to Audi Warwick in Rhode Island. Stop by and schedule a test drive today.
